Current Problems
11/24/14 - Polygon Congruence Criteria
We know how to tell if two triangles are congruent, but what about quadrilaterals? Or pentagons? How about ANY n-sided object? By the way, as far as we can tell, nobody can really say for sure! Check out the students' progress here as they work towards finding a pattern and possibly publishing a mathematical paper!
10/22/14 - Best Midpoint & Nth Point
Who can draw the best midpoint? What makes a point a "better" approximation of a midpoint than any other? How can we make a formula for the "Nth" point? Check it out here!
9/11/14 - 2 Diggers
For the past week the Geometry students have been working on the problem "2 Diggers." Check it out here!
9/2/2014 - Bedsheets
The Geometry classes at WRJH have been working on the problem "How many bed sheets does it take to break out of prison?" Based on a true story! Check it out here!
